Outdoor Film Screenings
The Collective Spaces animates outdoor spaces with public film screenings that connect thematically to the neighbourhoods they take place in. We are always interested in connecting local short-film makers with the public, but also include feature-length movies that are representative of the diverse cultural communities where the screenings take place.
REGENT CINEMA
July 27th 2013
In association with Artscape Daniels Spectrum and The Regent Park Film Festival, The Collective spaces preseted our "Regent Cinema" event in July 2013. Animating the area with an outdoor film screening, we were able to link up local filmmakers with a whole new audience. We helped to showcase nine pieces that were culturally linked to the residents of Regent Park, as well as two pieces from the CityLife Film Project, care of the Remix Project.
